A white envelope on a gray surface with a logo and address printed on it.
A black tote bag with a geometric spiral design and the text 'THE LAB' on it, hanging against a plain gray background.

An adaptive design — We crafted a design system for theLAB that was expressive and modern with a fluid ever-changing motion. A hand-drawn wordmark was paired with a geometric representation of an L and contrasted by an ethereal, gradient-based color palette.

A black and white microscopic image of a spherical biological cell or virus particle with a textured surface.
A collection of business cards for THE LAB with the address 2222 Fifth Street, Berkeley, CA 94710, and the website thelabberkeley.com, arranged in a creative pattern.

A constant reaction to users’ inputs — We designed a horizontal-scrolling site containing WebGL and parallax elements to facilitate theLAB's virtual campus discovery. With full-frame renders of the campus and morphing gradients, clients explore future-forward amenities and textural reclaimed spaces.

Bus stop advertisement with an abstract colorful circular design and text that reads 'THELAB Where science takes shape' on a city street against a brick building background.
